The Summer Before College

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Getting read to go to college takes a lot of preparation. You have to buy so many things and prepare so much!. Not only do you need school supplies, but you need living supplies. You’re preparing to spend a year in a brand new home. You will spend a good deal of money while getting ready for college, but you will make it through. Your most expensive purchases will be on things like your laptop if you don’t already have one and bedding. I suggest trying to get a used laptop if you are tight on cash. A refurbished laptop may sound dangerous,When you are going out to buy your supplies, don’t be surprised if it takes you longer than expected. You will probably have to pick up some unexpected tings and visit different stores. Defiantly don’t take all you younger siblings along with you either. I would keep it small, such as you and you parents or even just one parent. Make a list and break it up into categories. You can shop for hygiene products and dorm room stuff one day and school supplies and clothing the next.
