Perhaps The Simplest Vision Exercise To Correct Your Eyesight

There’re many vision exercises out there that you can undertake to enhance your vision. A number of them are definitely good, some are only OK, and others are simply a waste of time. How are you going to distinguish which is which?

That is my question 2 years ago. Ever since then, I’ve carefully use every the vision exercises I am aware of and recorded my progress. How did they fare? My result surprised me.

Twenty percent of the vision therapy I implemented was accountable for eighty percent of my progress. I took note of those eye exercises and category them as what I named “the basics”. These eye exercises, I believed, are the foundation of every vision improvement regime.

In this post, I would like to reveal one of those eye exercises. It is named “palming”. It may sound too straight-forward but believe me, it works. It works like this:

Make sure you’re not standing for this eye exercises. Close your eyes and gently place your palms on them, so that you can see no light. Imagine the tense in your neck and shoulders are dissipating. Imagine anything that relaxes you. It can be anything at all. A relaxing beach? A quiet garden surrounded by big field of sunflowers, maybe.

While you palm, make sure you arrange a countdown watch therefore you don’t be anxious about how long you have been doing it. Palm for a whole 10 minutes, 3 times everyday. Once when you get up in the morning, once during your recess from work and once just before you go to sleep.

Palming in the morning allows you to install an expectation for the rest of the day. The one in the afternoon allows your eyes to relax and regulate stress. While the one in the evening loosen your eyes and prepares it for sleep.
