After a long cold Winter the best time of year is now here! Most people, especially children, love Summer time! A lot of kids and adults think about camping trips and hiking trips when they think of Summer time. Of course for the trip to be as enjoyable as possible proper planning is required. One of the key things to the planning aspect is equipment selection. It is not all about the gear of course. Other important considerations include location location location.

The first thing to consider is the shelter where you will be sleeping. This can be as simple as a tent or as advanced as staying in a cabin or taking a motor home.
